News Avenir FC Into The Semifinals Of Hemja Gold Cup

Cameroonian club Avenir FC have entered the semifinals of the sixth Hemja Gold Cup Football Tournament with a dominant victory over departmental Nepal APF Club.

Avenir secured a meeting with Church Boys United in the last four by defeating APF 4-1.

Samesame gave Avenir FC the lead in the 27th minute of the match. Fredrick doubled the lead for Avenir in the first-half stoppage time. Bille, then added two goals towards the end of the game to give his team a comfortable victory.

Sabin Thapa pulled one back for APF but the victory was already sealed for Avenir.

Avenir, just yesterday, had lifted the title of Bhaluwa Gold Cup in Sunsari.

Hemja United and Khumaltar Youth Club will face each other in the first semifinal tomorrow.

The winner of the tournament organized by Hemja United, Pokhara will get Rs. 6,00,000 including the title and the runners-up will get Rs. 3,00,000 rupees.
