
Pema Dolma Lama, a former football player, has established a revolving fund to honor female footballers.
In addition to the allowances she received during various competitions, Pemba, a former player and current ANFA member, ANFA Women's Committee member, and General Secretary of the Women's Football Association, has established a revolving fund of Rs 3,00,000.
She stated that on Women's Day (March 8) each year, the interest earned from this sum will be given to one old or new female player. She stated that a selection committee would be formed for this, and that the award would be given based on the committee's recommendation.
She has been active in football for two decades and has also been an assistant referee and referee instructor.
