SAFF Championship 2021: Maldives Beats Sri Lanka To Move Second

Maldives defeated Sri Lanka 1-0 in a tight match played at national stadium, Male, Maldives on Sunday.
Veteran Ali Ashfaq scored the match winner through header in the 6th minute of the match.
Goal scorer Ashfaq became the player of the match.
With the important win, Maldives have moved second with six points from three matches. Nepal have same points but has remained on top on the basis of greater number of goals scored.
Nepal will play against India later this evening.
